I think my life has come back to some normalcy... I think... Maybe. Hopefully. (knock on wood) :) We all live under the same roof again, our OWN roof, and since school has started back, I'm back on schedule. I'll tell you though, the past two years have been rough, and when I thought that it was over, and it couldn't get worse... I got proven wrong. But I made it.. I'm back... and a little stronger I think. Plus now I have an "agent" workin for me on the other side. :) But it I wouldn't have made it without Heavenly Fathers help, care, and love. Okay nuff said about that. I don't think I have enough room to make up for 2 years on here so how bout I start from now. :) We moved into this sweet house that we are renting until the short sale is finished (all for a very low price of.... $650 a month!)

Kevin's job is going great. We moved in, got the kids registered for school, just in time for the kids to make friends before starting. We have GREAT neighbors here. Its a nice little tight community, FULL of kids!
When school hit, Madison started 2nd grade this year, and Austin started... KINDERGARTEN!

I cried when they both left me. Now its just me and Hannah at home... must be time to start thinkin about havin another one.. LOL. Can't get TOO comfortable.

In other news, my church ask me to serve as the second councilor in the Primary Presidency. Fun huh? There are around 150 kids in primary and nursery! Wow is right. I'm excited about it. The hardest part now, is trying to remember, who is who. :) I got the neighbor kids down, so that makes only 140 to go! lol.

We've had lots of fun swimming in Grandpa's pool this summer, and Austin is quite the acrobatic now. He'll do just about anything. Madison and Austin both taught themselves to swim this spring when we went to Las Vegas. That has been nice. Now Austin can do front flips INTO the pool, swim under water, open his eyes under water, and other daring things. Madison is a bit more like me... more reserved when it comes to danger.

Austin's in that age now that he's learned to do a ton of things all within a short period of time. Swim, tie his shoes, Ride on two wheels, and best of all he lost his first tooth.

He is still so proud of his lost tooth, he shows it to anybody who passes... yes even strangers walking on the street. He bought an ice cream with his tooth fairy money. He tells the strangers that too. :)

Speaking of ice cream... if that darn ice cream truck comes down this street one more time... I'm going to strangle him! Don't you know the kids will want it?? Don't you know that they will beg and plead and NEVER leave you alone until you have given them a dollar for the ice cream truck. Thats 3 bucks for me each time! Dear Ice Cream Truck Man, do you have to come EVERY FREAKING DAY??? I"M BROKE NOW! It was a fun at first... but if I hear your truck play another round of skip to my lou again, i'm shootin out your tires. Thank you - Yours truly, Crazy Mom. :)

Well thats all the updating that I can think of for now. On a side note, I finished the last book in the Hunger Games series tonight. I'm not sure if I liked it or not... yes I got everything that I wanted in the end, but for what cost....those that have read it, what do you think?

My Life Now

Mostly my life consits of cleaning the house for people to come see it, sewing little cute things for the girls, reading, traveling (back and forth from SLC, BLAH) and going to the beach. I love the beach. No its not really a beach like on the ocean, but its on a lake and there's sand all around it. Close enough for me. :) The kids like the water and the sand, I like the sun. LOL. Its so relaxing. We had a good 4th of July and I celebrated my 26th birthday on the 3rd. Kevin surprised me by coming back for my birthday. He didn't have off, so he came back for the morning, and then left in the afternoon. We ate birthday cake in the morning and I got a SURGER! It was awesome. I also went to the beach with the kids and then went back that night for Fireworks. That was so fun. We were actually on the beach this time, and it made all the difference being able to see it up close. Then on the fourth of July we went to my inlaws for a parade and for a bbq that got rained out. Rained out is an understatment. Actually it flash flooded their town. I got proof. It was crazy. It washed away the road. When we finally got out, we went to the Pocatello fireworks, and then drove back to Rigby. I had a busy week last week, and I have to say that I am quite enjoying being at home doing nothing this week. (well not nothing, of course some peps are coming to look at the house all the time, so I have to clean clean clean.) But its good to be home. In fact, I'm going to the beach today! OOOh, I can feel the sun now..... skin cancer here I come. LOL :)

Pictures from my birthday, dont look too closely, I don't have makeup on, it was only 8 in the morning and I just woke up! The other picture is us waiting for the fireworks on the beach. It was so cool.

My cute kids... I made the girls dresses. I got the fabric from walmart. It only cost me 3.75 for the yard and a half that I got. You can't beat that for 2 dresses. I made up the pattern, so its a one of a kind, Vanessa. :) LOL We took this picture of the family at the bbq, right before the HAIL and RAIN came. After this, the ground was covered in 2 feet of water.

This is Hannah and her cousin. Theyre only 10 days apart. They have a love/hate relationship. Here they are loving. Next one of them wacked the other. :)

This is after the flast flood rain storm. All the rain ran down from the mountains and the little colverts couldnt keep up. This video is the road going to my in laws house. We thought we were going to be stuck there. The raging river cut away the road.

Christmas Tree Hunting

On Saturday we took the kids (minus Hannah, she was sick) to go pick out a tree. We have a nice fake one that we usually put up, but this year I rearranged the living room so that we could put in a HUGE one in our vaulted ceiling. And since we couldn't afford a huge fake one, we decided to get a tree permit (10 dollars) and go hunting for one. We went with another family and took hot dogs up, which made it even more fun. It only took about 45 mins to get there and then once we got there, I think it only took like 10 minutes before Kevin found THE ONE. I wanted it tall and BUSHY. I like them thick.

This is THE ONE! Kevin cut it down like Paul Bunion.

We had to cut off the top just a little for it to fit in the space that we had, plus it was a little sparse up top anyways. So Austin thought it made a good Austin tree. Then we carried it back to the truck.

Then we took it home and decorated it. I found out really fast that I didn't have enough lights, so I had to go buy some. Like 10 more boxes. LOL. I think its beautiful. Hannah does too, she like to pull the decorations off and carry them around.

Family Picture Time

Last night we went and got family pictures done. It went pretty smoothly for having an 18 month year old. Of course she wanted to run, but she did well enough for the pictures. She's not totally smiling, but with Austin we were just happy to not have any crying pictures. :) We were there for 2 HOURS THOUGH!!!! I made an appointment, but evidently people are all getting their Xmas photo's done. So it was crazy. We were at the mall so while we were there waiting for the pics to come to the computer, we took them to the play place. And then noticed that Santa was already there! So they had to go say hi to him. :) They loved it, it was so cute. We didn't get a picture of Madison because we have her's from school. (so before you can ask where's Madison's picture, there ya go) :)

The picture of the 3 kids is my favorite, and believe it or not, it was Hannah's favorite to do! She thought it was funny and wanted to keep doing it. :)

This was the first year for Austin to sit still and and take a good picture, I was VERY proud of him.

And there's my angel, right before she broke down and had enough picture taking. :) LOL

Madison's Pageant

Madison has been working really hard these past couple of days on The Little Miss Rigby Pageant. She had done really well learning 2 dances and then doing them in front of a LOT of people. She did the Pageant tonight and did VERY WELL. We'll get the video in about a week, so I'll post some of it later. But here's some pictures from it. Her age group was K-2nd grade, so she did well for her age. Of course a second grader got it, but she had fun and that's all that matters to her. Her "Big Sister" (the girl who helped her learn her dance and took care of her) awarded her with The Little Miss Cutie Pie award.

Mommy and Daddy were so proud of her. She did so good.

Twilight Movie

Okay, So I went to go see Twilight. The sneak preview at Midnight, yeah, I'm obsessed. :) Anyways, we had a ball, felt like teenagers again. I went down to Pocatello, so I could go with Kevin's mom and sister. I made t-shirts for everyone, because..... welll..... I told you I'm obsessed. We stayed up late, and had fun. I can't comment on the movie, cuz, well lets just say, its not the book. But in the end.... I still liked it. We had a blast and wish it wasn't over.

Calling all Troops: Austin's Awesome 4th Birthday

On Saturday we celebrated Austin's 4th birthday. What a big boy I have now. Time is flying by. And with each year, he gets a little easier. :) This year he wanted to have all boys at his birthday. He wanted a "boy birthday". He originally wanted a Curious George birthday, but after going to ALL of the stores in Idaho Falls, I could not find any Curious George stuff. Course I found them online and the wanted a million bucks for it. :) So his second theme he picked out was the military theme. We had a lot of fun with that. When the kids got there, they got a dog tag, a military metal, and some face paint on their faces. They got a kick out of that.

Everyone Dressed up for his birthday. Even baby Hannah put on some of her older brothers cameo. :) Everyone looked great.

Singing Happy Birthday to the birthday boy. He was so excited to turn 4.

We played all sorts of games. This one I was a drill Sergent and the boys had to do exactly what I said for boot camp. They LOVED IT. Unfortunately by the time we got the video camera running. They had run out of steam.

They had to throw their parachuted man into the landing zone.

They also had to get thier light sticks and search for the "injured soliders" in the basement.

They did a pinata, played hot grenade, and played Sergent says too. All the games were a hit. Then it was time to open presents. Usually the highlight of the night. :)

After it was all said and done Austin gave some love to his Sergent Mommy. We found out later that all the boys loved the party. One of them wouldnt take off his dog tag. EVER. One of them wouldn't take off his face paint till right before church on Sunday. And one of them told his mom, "it was better than my birthday, your birthday, dad's birthday, and my brothers birthday, all put together." Wow - that s a pretty good birthday. :)

Halloween Night: Part Two Trick or Treating

Okay the second half of our night consisted of going Trick or Treating with the kids. Then taking them to the Fall Festival at our church, and then trunk or treating in the parking lot. We got the GOODS! And Hannah was so cute, she was so excited because the kids were excited, she knew she wanted to do whatever they were doing. LOL. Earlier that day, Madison had a party at her school and she got to dress up for it. But I didn't let her leave with out eating her brains and blood. She is after all my little vampire. :) LOL Then when I picked her up from school that day, I was all dressed up in my costume, and her and the kids loved it.

Halloween Night: Part One Kevins Birthday

What a night! I don't know how we did all that we did on Halloween, but we had fun. We started out celebrating Kevin's birthday. We had pizza and then Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for dessert. He blew out his candles and opened presents. His family was there.

Dance Dance

I just thought I wasnt going to post till next week, but then the kids had to go get cute on me. :) So I was feeling a little retro this morning and put in Backstreet Boys CD, their first one. Next thing I know, the kids all run in, (including baby Hannah) and start jammin! Not just a little dancing, but they were ALL OUT! So cute. They were SO in it. LOL.

The kids DID NOT get their dancing "skills" from me. They have their Father written all over them. LOL!

Insane Week

I have an insane week ahead of me. My husband left this morning to go fishing 8 hours away. He will be gone till Wednesday at about 4 in the morning. Meanwhile we are having a Halloween party, which we throw every year for his birthday (its on Halloween) this Saturday. We are leaving Wednesday afternoon to go down to Salt Lake City. Kevin has some interviews and physical fitness stuff to do for his new job on Thursday and Friday. Which means we don't get home till Friday night. Which means I have to get the house and all the details ready by Wednesday! That means cleaning out the playroom downstairs, moving everything into another room, and then spooky-fying it. :) Along with that, the kids are having there primary program on Sunday, so since both sets of grandparents are going to be here for the party on Saturday night, they might as well spend the night for church the next day..... soooooo... I gotta get all those beds together. And then....... oh yes I'm not done yet........ on Saturday (the day of the party) the kids have their primary program practise at 9:00. At the same time we have our super Saturday. So drop them off, do a craft, pick them up, go home, and start cooking for the party. (Hopefully everything will be decorated by then) Then get all kids cute and scary for the party. Whewww...... So did you catch my entire itinerary???? Tues: finish the decorating and cleaning for the party, get beds ready for guests. Wed: Pack for Utah, drive to Utah, get there 4 hours later. Sleep. WOW. Thurs: Kevin goes off to the interviews. When he gets back, we go look at houses with the Realtor. Fri: Kevin does more interviews, I take kids to a hayride with my sister. Oh wait, I have to go see my grandma that's in town too. :) Leave to go back home Friday night. Barely sleep in anticipation for the next day.... Sat: Take kids to PPP, do craft, pick up, go home. cook. Dress. PARTY. CRASH. Sun: Primary Program Mon: DO NOTHING! ALL DAY LONG!!!! Tues-Fri get stuff ready for Kevin's actual birthday, and wrap up Halloween shopping. I'm tired already. I'll be lucky if I make it through it all. The next post will probably be next week with pics of the Halloween bash! Today I shopped and shopped to get all the stuff for the party (with all three kids, no hubby remember? BAD IDEA) and got half of the room downstairs ready. Tomorrows the hard part. Annnndddd, its 10:30pm and I should be sleeping. And darn, I didn't run today, should be doing that now, but maybe all the moving of furniture took its place. (although I did have stupid Arctic circle for lunch) I better go to bed, now I'm just rambling. :) Night Night!

Pumpkin Picking

We went to a pumpkin patch last night and picked pumpkins! The kids had so much fun. It was a little farm close to where we live, so we didn't have to go too far. We wandered around until they found what they wanted. And then we only paid $14.00 for 5 pumpkins! Pretty good, I think. Were probably going to carve them next Monday. Then we came home and watched Nightmare Before Christmas, which after sitting down with them and watching it... its kinda scary for kids! They had already watched it a million times that day, and I hadn't paid attention to it. After all... I did get it in the mail from the DISNEY MOVIE CLUB! So now my kids are desensitized. Mom point for me. :) LOL ANYWAYS! We had fun, and have pumpkins to prove it:

Weekend Fun

This weekend was a busy one. We left on Friday and went down to the in laws house. Madison didn't have school, and Kevin got off of work early, so we went down. We all hung out Friday night, and then on Saturday, we had girls craft day. We made 2 different witches. I only take claim on putting them together and painting them. My mother in law and sister in law cut the wood out. Then we headed back home that evening. We got a babysitter, and went out to eat at Chili's with his mom and dad, and his brother and wife. After that we went to The Haunted Mill. Okay, this was SCARY. I get scared easily, but this lasted for like 30 mins! I kept waiting for it to be over so I could calm down.... but it went on and on. You had to crawl through things, climb up things. And let me tell you, if you were the least bit heavy, you wouldn't be able to make it through some of the passage ways with out doing some major sucking in. LOL. We even had to cross an old rickety bridge over a river. And of course Kevin's brother couldn't help but shake it. I thought it was going to bust and we were going to fall to the bottom. And of course they put me 2nd to the front so that they could get me. :) It was fun though. Then yesterday (Sunday) I got in a baking mood and made homemade biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Then made pumpkin pie, and then homemade clam chowder for dinner. We had some friends over for games that night too. We played Pinochle and the kids had their own fun. Madison and their little boy Dayton were so cute. They played the whole night together. And that was my weekend. Lots of fun, and full. Tonight were going to go pumpkin picking.

This one is called 7 weird things tag. I'm supposed to tell 7 weird things about my self. Hmmm, are you ready??

1. I can take my arms behind my back, one up and one down, hold on to my hands and then flip them to the front.

2. I like to eat a peanut butter, banana, and MAYONNAISE sandwich. (my husband wont kiss me after I eat it.)

3. I like the smell of fire burning the woods. Its a bad thing, but I love the smell. Campfire's also do the trick.

4. I am double jointed in my elbows, so if you ask me to hold my arms out, they bend backwards. I'm also double jointed in my fingers. So I can bend the top part of my fingers.

5. I don't like calling people. I have an issue with talking to strangers. Even if I'll never talk to them again. I make Kevin do all the calling on things.

6. I have to have two towels. One for my hair & face and one for my body. My husband thinks this is funny because in his family they just take whatever towel is the closest! AHHHHHHH, yuck. So when he's mad at me or wants to tease me, he'll take my HAIR & FACE towel and dry HIS body off with it. Gross. I immediately wash them if I know he did it. Except those moments that he starts laughing after my shower, then I know what he did. Then he really gets it. :)

7. Last but not least, I don't know if this is considered weird or not, but I do not like these foods, that most people like: Coconut, Grapefruit, Pineapple, and any type of nuts. And these foods aren't just a dislike, I HATE THEM. Wont eat em. I'd rather eat greens. Pina Colodas are defiantly on the yuck list. :)

Book Fair

Last night we went to the elementary school for the book fair. Each of the big kids got to pick out 1 book. (of course they picked out the most expensive ones.) They had a great time looking through them all. Then they got to have their faces painted. Austin wasn't too sure about doing that until he saw that a pumpkin was on the list. He is all about Halloween these days. Then he was the one who actually sat still for her to do it!

Austin picked out Curious George (currently his favorite show) Halloween. Which as I said before he has thing for. Isn't he such a cute little man?

Madison picked out a Little Mermaid book, which is 100 PAGES!!! My goal was for her to pick out a book that she could read by herself. But instead of saying go pick any book you can read, I said go pick any book that you want. Yeah, I messed that one up. :) Guess who gets to read Little Mermaid for the next week? Madison is very into princesses being at that lovely age of 5. And then had to get a mystical unicorn with "sparkly hair" painted on her face :). She is such a girl, and I LOVE it. LOL.

Unfortunately Hannah didn't appreciate the book fair. So Daddy and Hannah had a fun time running around outside. Then we all went out for ice cream afterward. It was a fun night. Tonight we go to Madison's school again, but this time for the dreaded Parent Teacher conference. :)

Dad's 69th birthday!

Wow! Is it Wednesday already? I'm a slacker! Better get postin! :) This weekend we went to my sisters house in Utah to celebrate my Dad's 69th birthday. (wow thats old LOL) A lot of my brothers and sisters were there to help celebrate it. We all had a good time, and I took lots of pictures to document it.

Here's my Mom in bed. She wasn't feeling well, so she unfortunately missed out on the whole thing. That's why I took so many pictures, so she could see it.

After all was said and done, the kids were bathed and sent downstairs to watch a movie, while the grownups had game time. They REALLY got into the movie. They didn't even know I was there!

Harvest Directions

Okay, so I've had some requests for the instructions on how to do the Harvest display. The credit for this design came from wonderfullywordy.blogspot.com. You can also email her at casonshelley@gmail.com for the complete package, and she can ship it to you. Here are the directions:

1. Go to a vinyl distributor and get her to make the word HARVEST. HVT is 8"x 4.5 ". AE are 4"x 4.5". And RS are 6"x 4.5".

2. Get 2x6 board cut 3 at 9" 2 at 7" and 2 and 5"

3. Sand and Paint blocks. (spray paint is fast and easy)

4. Cut cute scrapbook paper the size of the blocks. Rip the edges and then apply stamp pad to the edges, making it look burnt or roughed up.

5. Glue down the paper to the boards with modpodge. (read directions on modpodge) you want to apply a lot and then scrape down with a credit card. Then wait 15 mins for it to dry.

6. While your waiting for it to dry apply the letters to the paper. Ask your vinyl lady how if you dont know.

7. When 15 mins are up, Modpodge on top of the letter and and paper. It will seal it and give it a glossy look.

8. 15 more mins and then you can decorate! Buttons, ribbon, leaves, and riff raff make this project!

* note if you want to do a smaller scale on a 2x4 do same sizes but make letters 2.5 inces wide instead. I wanted something big. Ours cost about 18 dollars to make.

Harvest

See my beeeeauuuutiful craft? I did that last night! All by myself! Cute huh? I got the idea from wonderfullywordy.blogspot.com. You can order a kit through her. It took around 2 hours to make. It wasn't hard to do at all! And speaking of harvest. I did that too. :) I went to my mother in laws house and we did this craft and we canned peaches. It was fun. Ive never canned before, so it was a learning experience for me. It wasn't hard at all. Lots of fun actually. (The people you do it with is the fun part) I did 35 jars of peaches and 6 quart size jars of peach jelly. I didn't get home till midnight last night, but it was well worth it. It was a fun girls night out. :)

I AM POOPED! Let me tell you about the morning I've had. So my house is up for sale as everyone knows. And I've done a pretty good job (for having three kids) at keeping it clean. All until this weekend. We put our carpet in, so doors had to be taken off, furniture had to be relocated, and the house got trashed. Then yesterday I worked for hours and hours on corn. Which was a success by the way. I shuck and blanched 130 pieces of corn. Whew. But everyone knows what happens to your house when you let 3 monkeys take over and your adding to the mess with lots and lots of dishes. So this morning, I wake up, feed the kids, and get them settled into a cartoon, and sit down to check my email, and blogs and stuff (its my morning wake up time) and I get a phone call. OF COURSE ITS THE REALTOR. But here's the kicker. Its not someone wanting to look at the house, it is a whole bunch of other Realtor's coming to look. Annnnndddd..... he's had this planned for 3 weeks and not told me!!!!! Well not till this morning at 8:30 and they were going to show up anywhere between 9-12!!!!! So I freaked, and banned Kevin from going to work until he helped me put the doors and closets back on. Then I raced to clean whatever I could before they got there. Of course my poor kids got the blunt of my stress. Lets just say there was yelling involved. Meanwhile I still have to get Madison ready for school and the other kids dressed. Just as I was cleaning up the last thing they showed up. Phew. House looks good. I told them I couldn't leave because of Madison going to school. So like 20 people come in, my Realtor says go for it, and they all scatter. They gave themselves a self tour and left! Just like that. No explanations of all the goodies that the house offers. Nothing. All of that pain, stress, and torture and that's it. I'm a little aggravated. So I'm venting. I hate this part of selling your house. But on the up note, my house is clean, and I'm going to go to my in laws house and meet up with my sister in law and mom in law and can peaches and do a cute craft. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Kevin is watching the kids. I'm taking a break. :)

Corn Pickin!

Tonight we went corn pickin! :) It was an adventure to say the least. Of course I couldn't turn down a photo opportunity. There were some nice bails of hay nearby though that we could sit on and take some pictures. They turned out cute - I think. The kids had a BLAST. It is harder than you think to get the corn off the stalk though. You really have to pull them hard.

It seems like every picture I took, one of the kids wasn't looking at the camera. I took like 6 or 7 pictures and NOT ONE of them has all three looking at the camera and smiling. So I had to pick this one as the best. At least the big kids are looking at the camera. I took lots of pictures of Hannah because she was my only still subject. I can put her some where and she'll stay. I couldn't get the kids to SIT STILL! They wanted to go pick corn! Go figure?

I love this picture with the kids laughing at each other. Its one of those precious moments you catch by accident. I love those. Of course after all that hard work of picking corn, (really Daddy was the only one who worked for his keep) we all went out for ice cream. The kids had fun and now we get to learn how to "shuck" corn and freeze it. That will be tomorrows adventure. Check back tomorrow to see how that went. :) I'm sure we'll survive.

Fall is here

As I woke up this morning to it being 63 degrees in the house, and a lot lower outside, I'm reminded that it is fall. Today I'm torn between loving fall and hating it. I always love the changing seasons.... the new smells, looks, feels, and clothes. (maybe it mostly the new wardrobe) :) Fall has so many good things to it... beautiful leaves changing colors, the start of many fun holidays, yummy foods like pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, hot chocolate, and egg nog, to name a few. The feeling of putting on a jacket and having that brisk feeling hit you when you walk outside. The smell of snow not far away. Living where I do I get to enjoy all four seasons. Football season starts. So I love all these things.... but this year we had an extra long winter, which meant summer started late. So I'm torn with loving fall, and not wanting to give up my shorts and flip flops yet. Laying out in the sun and reading a book. Playing baseball out side with the kids (and not freezing to death) Watching them play in the sprinklers. All these things are making it hard for me to be ready for it to be over. What do I do? Well I have to get over it. CUZ ITS HERE. :) I'll just focus on the positives of fall (the clothes and food are at the top of the list!). Today after Madison gets out of school were going to go pick corn to f

reeze. Yet another fun thing of fall is to can and store. "Harvest" So that should be fun, and we'll get some fun pictures out of it too. I guess in the end, I'm looking forward to another change of season. Fall or not Fall that is the question.

Carpet is in!

We did it! The carpet is done after 4 days of trying to get it in. :) (Note to people doing construction, nothing is as easy as you think. Always plan double the time that you "think" it will take. Something ALWAYS happens.) It looks good and the kids love it. It feels more like a part of the house now instead of the basement, aka dungeon. Now that everything's done..... were going to sell it. :( I think this is a recurring theme of my life. Finish a house, move.... ;)

Today I thought I'd post some pictures that I thought was funny. Ive been wasting way too much time today doing it, so I might as well make it our blog entry today. Its our "yearbook" pictures from the 1950's to 2000's. If you go HERE you can do it too! Its funny because some of them you start looking like your mom or grandma! Notice in 1994 Kevin looks the same as he did in 1994! I even believe he had that shirt! My favorite for Kevin is 1976 - he was a hottie. And my favorite for me is probally 1966, love the hair! HAHA! Right now were in the middle of putting in carpet in the downstairs, so tomorrow I'll post some pictures of the finished project. Have fun and happy yearbooking!

Hannah and Madison

Today I just have the girls because Austin went to work with Daddy. So I thought it would be a good idea to show off all the tricks that Hannah can do and Madison's toothless grin. Lets start with Madison first.

As of 2 days ago Madison has lost all four teeth in front! She just lost the last one on the bottom right. She walks around singing "all I want for Christmas is my four front teeth" :) She's very proud that she's the only one in her class and on the street that has lost so many teeth for her age! Were going to get family pictures taken next week so we can document this awkward time in her life. :)

Madison and Hannah have fun together. Madison is a good big sister and helps Hannah all the time.... I don't know what I'm going to do when Madison goes to school full time next year!
Now lets get to Hannah. She all of a sudden started doing all of these little things that make me laugh. Shes saying so many things (which if you know my kids, they don't talk till their 3!) She coming into such a cute personality and feisty too! She doesn't take anything from the kids, she'll give right back to them what they give to her. :)

Hannah just figured out how to feed herself with a spoon. She's so proud and wont let you touch the spoon now. She wants to do it!
When you say, "lets say prayers" she folds her arms like this. Its so cute.

Hannah practicing all of her words. She can say more, but my mind went blank and I couldn't remember anymore. She just started walking too finally. About 3 weeks ago. So she likes to walk all around the house. She follows the kids around like a puppy dog. :) At the end of the clip she says, "bye bye mama" which means I'm done. LOL

This one is last and so funny! Hannah figured out how to blow on Daddy's tummy last night and now she's trying it out on Madison. You cant help but laugh when you see this. LOL.

Neighborhood Horse

Yesterday the little girl down the street had a birthday party and brought a horse for all the kids to ride! The kids loved it! They all took turns riding the horse. A bonus of living in the middle of nowhere. :)

Austin couldn't wait to get on, and then couldn't wait to get off. :) And then.... he wanted back on again. LOL!

Madison loved every minute of it! She thought she was a real cow girl! She kept asking if Daddy could buy her one. :) She even got a quick lesson on how to ride!

Moving

Soooo....... Kevin goes to Alaska to go fishing. There he meets the person who hires body guards for the church. Who then in turn offers Kevin a job. And guess what! Were taking it!!! WERE MOVING TO UTAH! Ha ha! So our house is for sale, he is wrapping up this year, and were looking for houses in Lehi. There are a lot of bonuses for this job. We get great benefits, job security, and good retirement. We have family around there so we wont be totally away from everyone. Now we just have to get Vanessa's parents there! Weve had a lot of prayers, and blessings, and temple visits, so this isnt just a fly by night thing. Were pretty sure this is what were supposed to do. They even pay for Kevin to go to school. How nice! :) So Utah, HERE WE COME!

Madison's First Day of Kindergarten!

Of course Mommy cried. :) But she was so excited! She said, "Don't worry Mom, I'll miss you too.... but I have to go to school now." LOL! She's a hoot!
